Tara Goodfellow, MBA, CTACC launched Athena Consultants, Inc. in 2003 after holding positions such as college CFO, Financial Aid Director, college Career Development Instructor and as an Account Manager with an international bank. Athena services clients internationally and assists them with achieving their goals. For individuals, this includes career and educational consulting as well as life coaching. For corporations, this includes DiSC assessments and leadership coaching.  Tara believes each person should apply his/her gifts and talents in their personal and professional lives, and Tara tries to support this effort through her coaching services. Tara also crafts resumes and optimized LinkedIn profiles for LinkedIn Profile Service.

Tara has spoken at Microsoft’s DigiGirlz, as the keynote and closing speaker to a healthcare organization’s state conference, as a presenter at the National Early College Conference and many engagements locally. She’s been featured in the New York Times, REAL SIMPLE, US News and World Report, Fast Company, careerbuilder.com and LearnVest.

Tara earned her MBA from Queens University of Charlotte, her BA from Belmont Abbey College. Recent certifications include Certified Coach (CTACC) and DiSC certification from Coach Training Alliance. Tara is an executive board member for the Mint Hill Chamber of Commerce, executive board member for KTA Sparring Booster, and board member for Queen’s Grant Community School.  She attends St. Luke Catholic Church with her family. She and her girls enjoy practicing TaeKwon Do and earned their black belts this past April.
