Most people have trouble finding the right words to describe themselves. Writing about ourselves is even more difficult. Kimberly Wittenberg Lurie co-founded Tearless Writing to help people highlight their strengths and experiences in both college admissions essays and job searches. Tearless Writing empowers every client to present their best self as they prepare to enter the next stage.
Over the last few years, Ms. Lurie has taught writing courses and career launch classes to business students at the Sawyer Business School at Suffolk University. Her strengths include motivating people to do their best work whether helping organize writing, editing resumes, developing effective cover letters, or practicing interview skills.
Ms. Lurie has run a successful appellate law practice for over 20 years, writing briefs and arguing cases in front of the Massachusetts Appeals Court and the Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts. She has worked with educators to develop strategic plans for local schools and served on the boards of several non-profits.
Ms. Lurie graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a double major in English and Management with a concentration in Human Resources and a J.D. from Suffolk University Law School.
