Amanda Hennessey loves to empower people and transform the way they approach and experience public speaking. She has coached scientists, entrepreneurs, writers, activists, lawyers, business-people, doctors, students, brides, grooms, executives, artists, a mountain climber and even a top dog trainer.
Amanda has led workshops at many organizations including Boston Children’s Hospital, MIT, Simmons School of Social Work and Women in Bio. She also provides coaching and workshops regularly on the West Coast, in sunny San Diego. Amanda is a proud member of the North San Diego Business Chamber.
In addition to founding Boston Public Speaking, Amanda is also a co-founder of and teacher at Boston Acting Classes. She runs this with her very talented husband, Art. She has also taught at the Film/TV Department at Boston University’s College of Communication, New York Film Academy and The Huntington Theatre Company. Amanda received her MFA at the Actors Studio Drama School. She has acted in films, plays and commercials.
