This afternoon I was scheduled to fly to Alberta Canada to speak at the 2021 Inventures conference. It was an exciting opportunity and I was thrilled to be invited to speak with Tzipi Avioz about how to set up a Customer Success team for success.

I was also hesitant with Covid cases numbers ramping up. Yes, I was one of those who enquired about all the precautions taken, and was happy to hear that the organizers required vaccinations, negative covid tests, indoor mask mandates, health checks etc.

Last week, very last moment, the organizers had to make the hard decision to cancel the event for 2021 due to rising concerns over the 4th wave of Covid-19. Yes, it was disappointing but also a relief to that part of my mind that was fearful of taking part in a super-spreader event.

I truly hope that in June 2022 for #Inventures2022 Covid-19 will be less of a concern, and we can all gather with excitement to learn and enjoy each others company.
